Benjamin Kegan

I’m a New York–based director drawn to stories about masculinity, performance, and the limits of the human body. My work moves through spaces shaped by pressure and performance, blending documentary authenticity with a cinematic narrative sensibility.

My most recent film, Seconds Away, is an inside look at the world of elite running, following an athlete and coach as they chase the Olympic qualifying standard. The film premiered at the Austin Film Festival and continues to screen internationally.

In addition to independent film, I direct and edit branded and commercial work for cultural organizations and companies, collaborating with teams to bring emotionally grounded, character-focused stories to life.
